16 arrested in Rangers raids

KARACHI: Pakistan Rangers Sindh on Thursday arrested 16 accused in different raids and recovered arms from them.

Rangers spokesman said targeted raids were conducted in Gulshan-e-Bismillah Chowk, Dawood Goth, Gulshan-e-Bihar, Lyari, Toori, Bangash Colony, Natha Khan Goth, Model Colony and Patel Para areas in wee hours.

He said snap checking was also carried out at Bilal Colony and Zamzama area of DHA.

He informed that an information driven targeted action was also conducted in Muhammadpur area where an abductees was recovered during the raid.

He further said during the raids 16 criminals including members of banned outfits, target killers affiliated with political parties and Lyari Gang War elements were arrested.

He said weapons and other mixed ammo were also recovered from their possession. (PPI)
