World Scouts Day celebrated in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Like other parts of the globe, World Scouts day 2014 was also celebrated in Pakistan on Saturday (Feb 22).

The Day is celebrated as very special day in the scout’s calendar. National scout associations celebrate this day as the Scout’s Founder’s Day.

The Scouts celebrate the day by organising a host of outdoor activities and by extending support to their local communities.

Girl Guides and Girl Scouts around the world also celebrate February 22 as World Thinking Day. It is a day to think about the meaning of Guiding and Scouting and about other countries and cultures.
