ISLAMABAD: The Interior Ministry has written a letter to intelligence agencies and police outlining threats to former President General (retd) Pervez Musharraf’s life.

In the letter the ministry states that the former president has received threats from various terrorist groups and he may be attacked while traveling from the Armed Forces Institute of Cardiology (AFIC) to the special court constituted to hear the treason case against him.

The Interior Ministry has sought fool-proof security arrangements for Musharraf.
