PESHAWAR: The Taliban negotiating committee arrived in North Waziristan to meet with the outlawed Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) shura.

The committee met with the TTP shura at an undisclosed location to set a time-frame for the meeting between the government committee and Taliban.

Speaking to the media prior to departure, Maulana Yousaf Shah who serves as the coordinator for the committee said the second round of talks would be ‘decision making.’

He called upon the masses to pray for the talks' success, adding that good news would be given to the nation soon.

According to Maulana Yousaf, the Taliban committee was leaving for North Waziristan to fix the agenda and the place for meeting between the government team and TTP shura.

“We will meet with government committee after meeting with Taliban leadership”, Maulana Yousaf said.
