SYLHET: The Netherlands captain Peter Borren won the toss and elected to bat first against Zimbabwe in their First Round Group B match of the World Twenty20 Cup here at the Sylhet Divisional Stadium on Wednesday.

The Netherlands made no change in their side while Zimbabwe made one change, dropping bringing in leg-spinner Natsai Mushangwe in place of another leg-spinner Tafadzwa Kamungozi.

Having lost the first match of the tournament to Ireland, only victory will keep Zimbabwe's hopes of competing in the main draw alive.

Netherlands are in a fairly comfortable position. The beat the UAE comprehensively to put points on the board but another win will allow them to put one foot in the competition proper.
