Hong Kong stocks open 0.47 percent higher

HONG KONG: Hong Kong shares rose 0.47 percent in the first few minutes of trade Thursday following a rally on Wall Street after minutes from the US Federal Reserve showed no support for an early rise in interest rates.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index added 106.62 points to 22,949.79.
