KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on Tuesday finally joined Pakistan People’s Party led Sindh government after almost one year.

At the start, MQM’s two ministers took the oath. Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ibad administered oath to two MQM MPAs Abdul Rauf Siddiqui and Dr Sagheer Ahmed as provincial ministers.

The oath taking ceremony was attended by MQM leaders Dr Farooq Sattar, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Syed Sardar Ahmed, Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Senior Minister for Education Nisar Khuhro, Minister for Information Sharjeel Memon, Inspector General of Police Sindh Iqbal Mehmood and AIGP Karachi Shahid Hayat.

Although the portfolios were not allotted yet but sources said that Rauf Siddiqui will get portfolio of Commerce and Industries Dr Sagheer Health. (Geo/PPI)
