Police submit report on Hamid Mir attack to JC

KARACHI: The Sindh Police has submitted its report pertaining to the April 19 attack on Geo News senior anchor Hamid Mir to the Judicial Commission.

The three member judicial commission will be hearing the case at the Supreme Court’s Karachi Registry from April 28 to May 2. During today's (Monday) proceedings the three member commission comprising Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali, Justice Iqbal Hameedur Rahman and Jusitce Ejaz Afzal barred the media from coverage.

Prior to the start of proceedings, IG Sindh Iqbal Mahmood, Secretary Interior Niaz Abbasi, DIG East Munir Sheikh, Joint Director IB and other officials arrived at the court.
