House fire kills five children in Chiniot

CHINIOT: At least five children were killed when a fire engulfed a room at a house here on Wednesday.

The room where wheat was kept caught fire when five children were playing inside. According to the residents of the house the fire broke out when the children lit a match in the room.

The children, two boys and three girls were between the ages of 5-10 years.

Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has taken notice of the incident and summoned a report from the local administration.
