COLORADO: Former world champion Tyson Gay, the second fastest man in history, was banned for a year on Friday for a failed drugs test, the US anti-doping agency (USADA) announced.
The 31-year-old American tested positive for a banned anabolic steroid last year.
He has also returned the silver medal he won with the US 4x100 relay team at the 2012 London Olympics. (AFP)
