Police arrest 84 in 24 hours

KARACHI: Karachi police on Saturday claimed to have carried out 101 raids and two encounters in various parts of the metropolitan and arrested 84 accused.

According spokesperson, Central Police Office Karachi police arrested 84 accused including five alleged murderers, five under terrorism act, one extortionist, one proclaimed offender, 12 absconders, 13 dacoits, 16 arrested under arms ordinance, 15 arrested under narcotics act and 15 others criminals during last 24 hours.

He said that 33 hand guns with bullets, three AK 47 guns, 10 hand grenades, 7662 grams of hashish were recovered from them. (PPI)
