KARACHI: At least six people including a lawyer and school principal were killed in incidents of firing in Karachi on Saturday, Geo News reported.
According to details, two persons including a lawyer were killed when unidentified gunmen opened fire on a car in Orangi Town.
Police told that the incident occurred near Islam Chowrangi in Orangi when a car was ambushed by unknown armed culprits riding a motorcycle, severely injuring two persons in the car.
The injured were immediately rushed to the nearby hospital where they succumbed to their injuries.
The victims were identified as Hammad Idrees Advocate and Noman Shah.
Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Rabitta Committee member Saifyar Khan said deceased Noman was party worker and Hammad Idrees was sympathizer.
In another incident, a man was gunned down at Anda Mor in North Karachi.
Two more people were killed in firing near Metroville SITE graveyard.
Meanwhile, a school principal was shot dead after he refused pay extortion in Orangi Town Metroville.
The accused was also killed in exchange of fire.
