Toll in Kurram Agency blast rises to eight

KURRAM AGENCY: An explosion took place in Khomta area of Kurram Agency that killed eight persons and injured several others on Tuesday morning, Geo News reported.

According to the sources, a blast occurred when a car was moving towards Parachinar from Kurram but unfortunately collided with an improvised explosive device (IED) fixed along the road. As a result, four persons were killed on the spot while six others sustained injured.

The injured were shifted to a hospital where four more succumbed to their injuries, increasing the toll to six.

The victims had recently shifted to their native area from an IDP camp in Kurram Agency.
