France responds to Ribery setback

LILLE: Karim Benzema, Blaise Matuidi and Antoine Griezmann each scored twice as France romped home to an 8-0 victory over Jamaica on Sunday in their final warmup game before the World Cup.

Yohan Cabaye and Olivier Giroud scored the other goals in the victory that gave a confidence boost after Franck Ribery withdrew from the squad with a back injury.

France play their first World Cup game against Honduras in Group E on June 15. (AFP)
