RAWALPINDI: Six terrorist hideouts including a training camp and an IED factory were destroyed by jet aircraft early in Tuesday morning, near Hasokhel, North Waziristan Agency.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), 25 foreign and local terrorists were killed in the strikes.




An ISPR statement said the operation is progressing as per plan. The cordon around all terrorists’ hideouts including in the town of Mirali and Miranshah has been further tightened and reinforced.

Last night three terrorists were killed while fleeing from the cordoned off area in Miranshah. One soldier was injured in an exchange of fire.

The operation has not begun in the setteled areas as yet to ensure that no terrorist can escape the cordon, all innocent civil population has been safely evacuated after their verification.

Necessary Logistics and administrative arrangements for IDPs have been completed by the Political Administration and the Disaster Management Agency. Security of IDP camps is being ensured by Army troops.
