Afghan election result due at 0930 GMT: official

KABUL: Afghanistan´s preliminary election result will be released at 2:00 pm (0930 GMT) on Monday, officials said, after a five-day delay in a growing dispute over alleged fraud.

"The result will be announced at a press conference at 2:00 pm," an Independent Election Commission official told.
