RIYADH: Shawwal moon has been sighted in Saudi Arabia, therefore Eid-ul-Fitr in the kingdom will be celebrated on Monday (July 28), Geo News reported quoting Arab TV.
Eid will also be celebrated on Monday in United Arab Emirates (UAE), Kuwait, Iraq and Jordan. Similarly, Muslims in many western countries including the US and UK will celebrate Eid on Monday.
The sighting of Shawwal moon marks the end of the holy month of Ramazan and celebration of Eid-ul-Fitr in Islamic countries.
