13 Gaza dead in Israeli shelling: medics

GAZA CITY: At least 13 Palestinians were killed by Israeli shelling on Jabaliya in the northern Gaza Strip on Tuesday, emergency services spokesman Ashraf al-Qudra said.

The latest fatalities took the number of Palestinians killed in the Israeli offensive, which began on July 8, to more than 1,200, with over 7,000 injured.
