Israeli soldier missing in Gaza is dead: army

JERUSALEM: The Israeli army on Sunday announced the death of Hadar Goldin, the Israeli soldier who went missing in action in the Gaza Strip two days earlier.

"A special committee led by the army´s chief rabbi has announced the death of infantry officer Hadar Goldin, killed in action on Friday in the Gaza Strip," the army said in a statement.
