Hong Kong stocks up 0.24 percent at open

HONG KONG: Hong Kong stocks rose 0.24 percent in the first few minutes of trade Friday, despite losses on Wall Street last week.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index climbed 57.68 points to 24,590.11 at the open.
