PTI local leader, 2 others killed in DIK IED blast

DERA ISMAIL KHAN: A local leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), also a religious leader along with his two companions were killed in a powerful roadside bomb blast at Kulachi Tehsil here on Monday police said.

According to police local politician and religious leader Faqir Jamshed was travelling in a car with two companions towards his fields when an improvised explosive device hit their vehicle in Madhi Road area of D.I Khan district. As a result Faqir Jamshed Arif along with his driver and a guard were killed on the spot.

Police rushed to the site and cordoned off the area.

Faqir Jamshed's funeral prayer and burial will take place in Tehsil Kalachi this evening.
