Sangakarra, Steyn head ICC Test rankings

K.Sangakarra is back on the summit of the batting Test rankings of the ICC after his fabulous double hundred in the recently concluded Galle Test.

AB de Villiers has come down to no.2 in the batting rankings whereas fellow S.African Hashim Amla is at no.3.

S.African speedster Dale Steyn is at no.1 in the bowling rankings followed by Ryan Harris at no.2 and Ashes hero M.Johnson at no.3.

Surprisingly Indian off-spinner R.Ashwin heads the rankings for all-rounders. S.African opening bowler Vernon Philander is at no.2 and most probably the only genuine all-rounder amongst the top 5, Shakib Al Hasan is at no.3.
