Hong Kong stocks open 0.15 percent up

HONG KONG: Hong Kong stocks opened 0.15 percent higher Wednesday as investors shrugged off a weak lead from the US and European markets.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index added 36.83 points to 24,726.24 in the first few minutes of trade.
