PESHAWAR: A tribal elder Wednesday escaped a roadside bomb blast in Khar tehsil of Bajaur agency.

According to reports the vehicle of the tribal elder Malik Abdul Hakeem was targeted with roadside remote controlled bomb blast in Gulu Shah area. The bomb exploded near the vehicle but the tribal elder escaped.

The security forces rushed to the site and cordoned off the area. The security forces also started search operation in the area.
