RAWALPINDI: At least 30 terrorists were killed when the Pakistan army used gunship helicopters to target them in North Waziristan.

According to ISPR nine cars and several motorcycles belonging to terrorists were also destroyed.

Earlier, 18 militants were killed while twelve of their hideouts were destroyed in aerial strikes by Pakistani fighter jets in North Waziristan Agency and Khyber tribal regions.

The ISPR said that five militant hideouts were destroyed in Khyber agency and seven in North Waziristan in the strikes which were conducted as a part of the ongoing military operation ‘Zarb-e-Azb’ against the militants in the tribal region.
