PM Nawaz advises Nisar not to respond to Aitzaz

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan held a three-hour long meeting here on Friday, sources said.

Sources said the prime minister advised Nisar Ali Khan not to hold a press conference to respond to Aitzaz Ahsan’s speech in Parliament.

The minister was quoted as having said that he wanted to show a document in the press conference to espouse his claims.

Nisar Ali Khan took Aitzaz Ahsan’s speech as a personal insult but said that he had to show restraint due to prime minister during the joint sitting of the Parliament.
