ISLAMABAD: The reporters and staff of Geo News have been made to feel scared as their office in Islamabad once again came under attack on Sunday night.

Just like recent attacks, a group of people participating in the ongoing sit-ins here gathered in front of the Geo News office and pelted it with stones, shattering the windowpanes of the building and cars parked outside.

This is not the first time when Geo News office or its reporters were attacked and harassed during the protest sit-ins in the capital city.

Since the sit-ins of the PTI and PAT started, the staff of Geo has come under attack many times. A female reporter, Farhat Javed, covering the PTI sit-in was attacked with empty bottles and other staff was also harassed.

The mike of a Geo reporter was snatched in the sit-in and other staff members were also teased and harassed. The daily harassment has greatly perturbed the Geo staff members who are compelled to perform their duties in an atmosphere of fear.
