HAFIZABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif asserted on Tuesday, that his government will leave no stone unturned for rehabilitating the flood affectees.

Addressing the people of flood-hit Jalalpur Bhattiyan, PM Nawaz said the government will fully assist the flood affectees despite limited resources.

He said, the government needs resources to take preventive measures to prevent damages from floods.

PM Nawaz said he and Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif themselves would visit flood-hit areas to review the situation.

Mr Sharif assured the government will provide the affectees necessary assistance for reconstructing their homes and to resume their routine life.

During his visit, the Prime Minister was given a briefing on flood situation in the area.
