US-led strikes hit Qaeda in Syria as well as IS: monitor

BEIRUT: A US-led coalition carried out air strikes against positions of Al-Qaeda´s Syria affiliate Al-Nusra Front on Tuesday as well as the Islamic State group, a monitoring organisation said.

The strikes hit an area in western Aleppo province, killing at least seven people, both militants and civilians, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said.
