Admiral Zakaullah appointed Pakistan Navy chief

ISLAMABAD: Admiral Zakaullah has been appointed as the Pakistan Navy chief by President Mamnoon Hussain on the advice of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

The current Navy chief, Admiral Asif Sandila will retire on October 7.

Admiral Zakaullah was commissioned in the Navy in 1978 and was serving as the vice chief of naval staff.
