Family claims new born kidnapped from Ganga Ram hospital

LAHORE: The family of a new born baby boy has claimed he was kidnapped from the Ganga Ram Hospital in Lahore.

The mother of the new born said she gave birth to a baby boy and was informed by the hospital staff he was healthy. According to the mother she was later told that it was a still birth.

The family claimed the hospital staff refused to hand over the child or his dead body, alleging he had been kidnapped.

They also protested against the alleged kidnapping in the hospital’s emergency ward and broke windows. A large contingent of the police arrived at the hospital to bring the situation under control.
