LAHORE: The man seen breaking windows of vehicles and damaging public property during the Model Town tragedy has claimed that he is being offered movie roles.
Gullu Butt spoke to the media after his appearance in an anti-terrorism court and said he had been offered roles in both local and international movies.
Butt added he had been accused of damaging cars and other crimes but had faith in the media and judiciary. “If the media wants they can shave my mustache,” said Gullu Butt.
The lawyer for Butt said the cameraman of a private TV channel told the court he had not made the video of the cars being damaged. According to Butt’s lawyer the cameraman said he had downloaded the video from the internet.
