Pillion riding banned on 8-10 Moharram in Sindh cities

KARACHI: Sindh Home Department on Wednesday announced a ban on ridding pillion for three days, from Moharram 8 to 10, in major cities of the province including Karachi as part of a security plan.

According to a statement issued here, the cities where pillion riding will remain banned for three days are: Karachi, Hyderabad, Khairpur, Sukkur and Sanghar.

The provincial Home Department also prohibited use of telecams (or drone-mounted cameras) from Moharram 5 to 10.
