Clashes erupt after Israeli forces enter Al-Aqsa mosque compound

JERUSALEM: Clashes erupted in the compound of the Al-Aqsa mosque between Israeli security forces and Palestinian protesters.

The sounds of gunshots could be heard from the compound as Israeli security forces clashed with Palestinian stone throwers.

The Israeli forces used stun grenades to disperse protestors. At least 20 Palestinians have been injured in the clashes.
