DUBAI: The International Cricket Council has issued its shortlists for the cricketer of the year and other awards. No player from Pakistan has been nominated in any of the ICC award categories.

The award takes into consideration the performance of cricketers from 26 August 2013 till 17 September 2014.

The cricketers shortlisted for the test cricketer of the year award include AB de Villiers, Mitchell Johnson, Angelo Mathews and Kumara Sangakara.

Shortlisted players for the ODI cricketer of the year award include AB de Villiers, Quinton de Kock, Virat Kohli and Dayle Styen.

Players shortlisted for the T20 award include Aaron Finch, Alex Hales and Rangana Herath.

The ICC also announced its test team which did not include any cricketers from Pakistan or India. Pakistan’s sole cricketer in the ODI ICC team was Muhammad Hafeez.
