CHITTAGONG: Openers Tamim Iqbal and Imrul Kayes provided a solid start to Bangladesh as they made 91 without being separated in the first session on the first day if the third and final Test against Zimbabwe here on Wednesday.
Both were batting in their forties - Tamim on 44 and Imrul on 41 – at lunch after their captain Mushfiqur Rahim won the toss and elected to bat at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhry Stadium.
Bangladesh already leading the three-Test series 2-0 and are looking for a whitewash against Zimbabwe.
