ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman, Imran Khan said on Wednesday that the government team had agreed on including ISI and MI officials in the judicial commission to probe allegations of rigging in the 2013 elections.
Imran Khan was speaking with the media outside his Bani Gala residence prior to departing for the PTI rally in Nankana Sahib.
Khan said his stance on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif remaining in office until the judicial commission completed its probe into election rigging was not a u-turn.
Khan added that he had not been consulted over the appointment of the Chief Election Commissioner. He said his party supported Justice (retd) Nasir Aslam Zahid but without removing the provincial election commissioners, there was no use of appointing a CEC.
