CAPE TOWN: Pakistan defeated England by eight wickets to qualify for playing the final of the Blind Cricket World Cup here on Saturday.

Batting first in the semi-final of the tournament, England set a tough target of 264 runs but Pakistan achieved the total for the loss of only two wickets.

Aamer Ashfaq set a new record of scoring the fastest half-century off just 14 balls. The , eclipsing the previous record held by his team-mate Abdul Razzaq who made today his half-century from 17 balls.
