Fire erupts in Rawalpindi cloth storage facility

RAWALPINDI: Firefighters are struggling to bring under control the fire that erupted in a cloth storage facility here on Purana Qila Road on Monday night.

The fire that broke out on the fourth floor of the godown quickly got more intense, as 7 fire tenders were engaged to overcome the raging flames.

Until last reports, buildings located in the close vicinity of the burning storage facility were being evacuated.
