Nation cannot be left at mercy of terrorists: PM

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday said that the nationl could not be left at the mercy of terrorists.

The prime minister was addressing the anti-terrorism meeting here and stressed that extraordinary times called for extraordinary measures. Prime Minister Sharif emphasised that citizens from all ethnicities and religious beliefs would be protected.

PM Sharif added that atrocities committed by terrorists would not be forgotten or forgiven.

The prime minister has also summoned a meeting of parliamentary leaders on Wednesday morning. The meeting will finalise the National Action Plan for eliminating terrorism.
