QUETTA: Balochistan's health department has banned seven cardiac medicines. Chairman Quality Medicines Authority has been directed to examine the medicines.
Provincial health secretary Asmatullah Kakar told Geo news that after the deaths of heart patients due to consuming substandard medicines, the provincial government has banned seven medicines.
He said that directives in this regard have been issued to additional secretary health department, chairman Medicine Quality Control Authority Noor ul Haq Baloch and all the drugs inspectors.
