Car, pick-up collision kills five near Mardan

MARDAN: Five members of a family were killed when their car collided with a pick-up van near Mardan, Geo News reported Saturday.

According to police, the car was traveling from Mardan to Takht Bai when it collided with an over speeding pick-up at Malakand Road that killed five members of a family including two woman and a child.

The bodies were shifted to District Headquarter Hospital while the driver managed to escape after the accident.

Police has cordoned off the area to arrest the pick-up driver.
