Gilgit: Schools, offices closed for 3 days

GILGIT: The additional deputy commissioner has issued a notification to close government offices and schools as a measure to control the deteriorating law and order situation .

The situation deteriorated when gunmen opened fire on a passenger bus killing 16 people in the district of Kohistan.

According to the notification, Section 144 has also been imposed in Gilgit.
