NAWABSHAH: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president Nawaz Sharif said that if the government had served the country, then there would not have been slogans of 'Go Zardari Go', Geo News reported Thursday.

PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif was addressing a rally in Qazi Ahmed and said the government displayed ignorance towards flood relief efforts and that is why farms were still inundadted.

Nawaz referred to the laptop distribution in Punjab and assured that he would soon give away laptops to the students in Sindh as well.

He said that his government eradicated the culture of terror in Sindh earlier and would continue to do so.

The PML-N leader strongly condemned the attack on Geo News satellite van and said that such people are neither sincere with the country nor with the ruling PPP. He also condemned the slapping incident involving Waheeda Shah.

He vowed to unite the country and aimed at constructing a new highway that would connect Sindh and Punjab provinces.
