KARACHI: Ameer Jamat-e-Islami Pakistan, Syed Munnawar Hassan Thursday said that if PPP had clear enough majority to form government in Sindh, on its own, then why it was being blackmailed at the hands of allies, Geo News reported.

Talking to a delegation headed by the Convener Friends of Lyari, Habib Jan, JUI chief said that Lyariites always vote PPP in but PPP always votes them out.

“ Residents of Lyari should ask PPP to part ways with its allies and stand apart independently”, said Munnawar Hassan.

JUI chief also vowed to extend all kinds of help in bringing about peace in Lyari.

On the occasion, Friends of Lyari invited him to participate in Baloch cultural day on March 2, 2012 (Friday).
