Conspiracies against Seraki province in full swing: PM

MULTAN: Prime Miniser Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani Friday said that certain quarters were undermining the cause of Seraki province, Geo News reported.

Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani,who arrived here on a three-day visit, was talking to newsmen at the airport.

He said, on the contrary, the same elements were trying to create those provinces, which had never been in demand.

He also told newsmen the Afghan President Hamid Karzai in a letter written to him, had stressed equitable and deeper collaboration between Pakistan and Afghanistan to sustain brotherly and close ties.

Gilani said the Afghan president also mentioned the Third Afghan-Iran-Pakistan Trilateral Summit in Islamabad that offered yet another opportunity to pursue bilateral dialogue between the two
countries.

Prime Minister refused to comment on PML-N’s Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan’s allegations of horse-trading in Senate elections.

In the end he thanked the voters at large for electing his son Ali Musa Gilani in the by-polls.
