LAHORE: The duration of CNG suspension in the Punjab region is about to increase from two-and-a-half days to three days effective from Monday, Geo News reported Saturday.

According to Managing Director Sui Northern Gas Company (SNGC) Arif Hameed, all the gas filling stations in the province would now be closed for three days from Monday. As a result, the textile sector would now get the gas supply for three days and would remain closed for four days.

He told that the fertilizer companies are now getting gas while the supply has also been resumed to Pak-Arb and Engro fertilizers.

MD SNGC also told that the gas pressure has improved and domestic needs have been met. The industrial sector would receive increased gas supply from April, he added.
