Punjab Assembly passes second Local Government (amend) bill

LAHORE: The second local government (amended) bill passed Punjab Assembly here on Wednesday, Geo News reported.

With the passage of the bill the government would now be able to re-demarcate the constituencies for the coming local bodies elections.

Moreover, Punjab Assembly also adopted amended bills for Bank of Punjab and environmental protection in Wednesday’s session.
