Senate condemns terrorist attacks in KPK

ISLAMABAD: The Senate on Friday condemned recent terrorist attacks by miscreants on public rallies and police personnel in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

The resolution presented to the House by an Awami National Party Senator Haji Adeel, especially mentioned to attacks on public rally of MNA Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao, Nowshera attack and attempts on police convoys and police stations in different parts of the province.

The House demanded from the provincial government to ensure security for the public meetings, the political figures as well as common man against the unlawful activities of the miscreants.

The House also sympathized with those who suffered from these attacks and resolve to continue fighting the menace with valor and commitment. (APP)
