KARACHI: The Edible Oil Transport Association has announced to end 21-day strike after getting assurances of their demands being met, Geo News reported.

Chairman of the association, Bakhtawar Wazir told that an agreement has been reached with the authorities about their demands.

Our arrested members would be released and National Logistic Cell (NLC) would only use those tankers owned by the company for the supply, he said.

The three-week tussle between Pakistan Vanaspati Manufacturers' Association (PVMA) and tanker owners association has raised the edible oil prices in the domestic market.

Now, after the path up it can be expected that prices would come down and factories would restore manufacturing process.
